Electric vehicle chargepoint grant for residential landlords
After you’ve applied
Once the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) approves the application, they’ll let you and your installer know.
Claiming the grant
When your installer finishes the work, they will claim the grant on your behalf.
They will give details of your chargepoint to OZEV, along with photographs of the installation and a copy of your invoice.
If OZEV approves the claim, they will pay the grant amount to your installer.
Audits
OZEV may audit your application before it’s approved. They may also audit your installation to check that it meets the grant requirements.
They may arrange for a site visit. If you do not allow this or do not respond to their questions, they may cancel your application.
If you need help
If you have any questions about the scheme, you can speak to your installer or contact the Government Grant Managed Service.
